Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

Everything is stored locally on your iPhone. Clio Daye has no servers and makes no network connections. Your data never leaves your device.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Settings (the gear icon on the home screen) and tap Delete All My Data. This immediately and permanently removes everything — cycle logs, symptoms, mood entries, and notes. It cannot be undone.

I forgot my PIN. How do I get back in?

If Face ID or Touch ID is enabled, use that to unlock the app. If you've lost access entirely, you'll need to delete and reinstall the app — this will also delete your data, as there is no recovery mechanism by design.

Can I use Clio Daye as a contraceptive?

No. Clio Daye is a cycle awareness tool only. Do not use it for contraception or family planning without speaking to a healthcare provider.

How accurate are the predictions?

Predictions are based on your logged cycle history. They improve with more data — at least 3 full cycles gives a reliable baseline. Clio Daye shows ranges, not exact dates, to reflect the natural variability in cycle length.

Is the app open source?

Yes. The full source code is available at github.com/pjaol/safeflow. You can verify every privacy claim directly.
